The Marketing degree prepares students for entry-level careers in marketing, advertising, sales, marketing research, and public relations. Students receive a strong foundation in economics, accounting, management and statistics along with upper-level marketing courses.
The Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration (ASBA) core is a 67 credit hour, 115-week program designed to improve a student's critical thinking skills while providing the student with a solid introduction to business administration principles. (All general education courses required for the A.S. degree are contained within this adult degree program.)
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (BSBA HA) core is a 45 credit hour, 81-week program designed to expand a student's critical thinking skills while providing the student with a solid foundation in business administration principles and their contemporary applications in the workplace. (A minimum of 46 hours of transferable credits is required for admission to the B.S.B.A. program.)

The mission of the accounting degree at Gwynedd-Mercy College is to prepare graduates to enter the accounting profession, to participate and advance the goals of the profession and to achieve personal success. The degree should ready the graduate for a career in public accounting with the objective of becoming a CPA if desired, while preparing them for practice in government or industry.
Recent changes for Certified Public Accountants in Pennsylvania require that 150 credit hours must be obtained before a candidate can be licensed as a CPA. In response to the changes in the law, the School of Business has created a new track in the accounting degree program that will allow qualified students to complete 150 credit hours in 4years of intensive study. This program will require students to complete internships in public accounting firms, as well as take more advanced accounting and business courses.
The Management degree prepares students for entry level careers in management in small, medium and large businesses. Students graduating from the management program have been employed in retail firms, small businesses and large corporations.
The Finance degree prepares students for entry level careers in financial services and banking positions. Students receive a broad foundation in economics, accounting, technology and management areas. Students graduating from the finance program have been employed in investment companies, banks, and financial services firms
The Human Resource Management degree prepares students for entry level careers in Management area of training, benefits, law, and labor relations.. Students graduating from the human resource management program have been employed mostly in larger corporations and entities.
The Sports Management degree prepares students for entry level careers in the sports industry, parks and recreation, and for work with professional sports teams. The curriculum combines a strong foundation in economics, accounting, management and technology with current theory in sports management topical areas. Students graduating from the sports management program have been employed in sports enterprises as well as non-profit recreation organizations.
This 37-credit degree program is designed to meet the needs of a variety of business professionals. The MSM degree program centers on development of managers who will gain theoretical and practical knowledge and skills that enhance their effectiveness as a leader in the workplace. Research is an ongoing, integral part of the MSM degree program. Each course represents one piece of the overarching research component.
The overall aim of the MSM degree is to produce versatile individuals who will be able to solve current and future problems in organizations, and meet the business needs of society as a whole. Among other skills, this graduate degree will allow students to analyze, evaluate and synthesize personal and corporate values from a balanced prospective; apply critical thinking to real life work problems through the application of theoretical and experiential knowledge; and utilize effective organizational and group communication skills.
